George Micheal Questioned

August 15th, 2009

Singer George Michael was arrested and questioned by police after his Land Rover was in a collision with a lorry on the A34 in Berkshire.
The 46-year-old was held on suspicion of driving under the influence of drink or drugs but released after five hours.
He was taken to Loddon Valley police station near Reading following the incident in the early hours of Friday.
A Thames Valley Police spokeswoman said the singer was later released without charge.
Police were called to the incident, involving a silver Land Rover and a lorry, two miles north of the M4 at about 0001 BST.
“The driver of the Land Rover, a 46-year-old man, was arrested at the scene and taken into police custody.
“He was later released without charge,” she added.
In June 2007 the singer was banned from driving for two years after pleading guilty to driving while unfit through drugs.
