Korean car company Kia have conducted a test on Britains drivers, the Kia Motors Driving Test Challenge, and discovered that a whopping 50% of drivers would fail if asked to retake their driving test. The tests were undertaken by an approved driving instructor who assessed the candidates over a 40 minute test route. Over half of the candidates made major mistakes which would result in an immediate failure. The commonest mistakes were poor observation, mainly not using mirrors correctly. A sobering thought!
